Ferrari Logo - A Symbol of Speed


All racing fans are well aware of the black horse prancing symbol with a yellow background towards it. After seeing the symbol, racing fans can easily recognized that the prancing horse characterizes the famous brand “Ferrari”. Letters ‘S’ and ‘F’ in the logo design refers to the famous sports car “Scuderia Ferrari”.

History of logo belongs to Count Francesco Barraca, a fighter pilot of the Italian Air force who died fighting fearlessly during the 1st world war first used the prancing horse symbol at the sides of his plane. On June 17th, 1923 Enzo Ferrari won a race at Savio track in Ravenna where he met Barraca’s mother ‘Countess Paolina’. Countess Paolina suggested Enzo Ferrari to use the prancing horse symbol on his car; it will bring him a good luck at race events. Scuderia let him used the prancing horse symbol at SPA 24 hours in 1932 where Ferrari won; then Ferrari left the black horse prancing symbol on his car and added a yellow background to it because it was the symbolic colour of Barraca’s birth place(Modena).

No doubt, Ferrari logo has credible image among racers mind.

A SYMBOL OF PRESTIGE - ROLEX LOGO




The history of Rolex dated back to 1908, when a German National Citizen, Hans Wildorf, and his brother in law, Alfred Davis, founded the company “Wildorf & Davis” for importing Swiss Movements, Sources dials and manufacturing watches and watchcases.

Afterwards, Hans Wildorf registered the company with the name of “Rolex” on 15th of November 1915. And the Rolex Crown Logo Design became a registered trademark in 1925.

The Logo of the World’s Most Wanted Car – Rolls Royce



No doubt, Rolls Royce is one of the most favorite cars of all times. The brand slogan says, “At sixty miles an hour the loudest noise in the new Rolls-Royce comes from the electric clock”, and the Rolls Royce has been successfully fulfilling this promise for several decades.

The company was founded in 1884 by Frederick Henry Royce as an electrical and mechanical company, Later on in 1904; he produced his first car named “Royce”. Soon afterwards, he was joined by Charles Stewart Rolls with the deal that the Car was manufactured by Royce and sold by Rolls. Later they came into contract that the car needed to be renamed as “Rolls Royce”.

The logo design of this prestigious brand is in rectangular shape and divided into three parts. In the middle part, the symbol “RR” is inscribed. And the upper portion is inscribed by the word “Rolls” and the lower portion of is inscribed by “Royce”. The Rolls Royce logo is designed very delicately and depicts the strong impression of luxury and prestige. All in all, with the silver shiny color, the famous logo design of this top brand in cars is a true representation of corporate well being.

The Logo of the 2010 FIFA WORLD CUP SOUTH AFRICA



The coming year will be the year of Soccer lovers, the year for the Fifa World Cup 2010. In May 2004, FIFA awarded the hosting of the FIFA World Cup to an African country for the first time in the 101 years of FIFA’s existence. As the host, South Africa stands not as a country alone – but rather as a representative of Africa and as part of an African family of nations.

Hence, the logo design of the Fifa World Cup 2010 depicts the same essence and shows the map of Africa with blue, green, red, yellow, black and white stripes of South African flag. The design is dynamic and embodies the burning passion of Africa.
